CDFW granted the extension request to Dec. 15, a day after the original permit expired in October. Since that time, construction of the Canyon Del Rey Segment in the Frog has progressed but was not completed. In mid-November, TAMC announced that the Frog Pond Wetland Preserve will not reopen until late summer 2026.
