Transportation Agency for Monterey County spokeswoman Theresa Wright said that due to the ongoing rain, Carlton Drive will reopen in late January to early February. Emergency vehicles and residents of the south end of Carlton Drive still have access to their residences via Quendale Avenue or Highland Street.
