Saturday’s Pajaro Emergency Preparedness Fair aims to bring together community members and local agencies in the hope of building a more connected, prepared and resilient community according to organizers.
The event, hosted by Monterey County Department of Emergency Management, will go from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Pajaro Middle School.
There will be interactive booths where attendees can meet local emergency responders, community organizations and service providers.
Participants will also have the opportunity to make “go-kits” with disaster preparedness supplies and learn from professional emergency responders about practical tips for emergency resources, family communication plans and disaster recovery.
There will also be food, music and raffles for attendees to participate in.
