Pesticide regulators sued for “confusing, contradictory rules”

It's the fourth time since 2017 that advocates and DPR have gone to court over 1,3-D, a fumigant widely used to kill pests on Monterey County crops, like strawberries. 1,3-D has been linked to increased cancer risk, especially for those living and working near application zones.
