Yong Ja Kim passed away unexpectedly on December 16, 2025, leaving a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She was a beautiful soul, known for her grace, warmth, and unconditional love. Deeply rooted in her Korean heritage, she lived with quiet strength and compassion, always placing others before herself. She was a devoted and loving mother, and an adoring grandmother whose grandson was the light of her life. Yong Ja is survived by her daughter, grandson, brother, sister, nieces, and nephews, as well as her devoted partner, with whom she shared a life grounded in love and companionship. A treasured friend to many, she brought comfort, joy, and peace to those around her and will be lovingly remembered always. Services will be held Sunday, January 11, 2026, from 11am to 2pm at Struve and Laporte Funeral Home in Salinas.
