Stephen Raymond Perak OBITUARY

Stephen “Steve” Raymond Perak, born June 23, 1950, passed away on December 13, 2025, of natural causes. He lived in Monterey, California.

Steve was a lifelong general contractor and handyman who was always willing to share his knowledge and teach his trade to family and friends. He was happiest when working on a project, fixing something around the house, or helping someone else with theirs.

When he wasn’t working, Steve cherished time with his children and grandchildren and enjoyed weekly bike rides with lifelong friends. He also loved card games, dancing, playing pool and spending time in good company with a fresh margarita or cold Coors Light.

He is survived by his children Sara Laurin, Jessica Reed Perak, and Ben Perak; son-in-law Casey Reed, daughter-in-law Cassie Perak; his grandchildren Summer Laurin, Caleb Laurin, Clyde Reed, Bryson Perak, Vincent Perak, and Beau Perak; along with his sister Chris Buley and her family.

Stephen will be remembered for his strong work ethic, generosity, and unwavering commitment to help others. He will be deeply missed by many
