Michael Patrick McNally OBITUARY

Michael Patrick McNally OBITUARY

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Michael Patrick McNally, 75, on Christmas day. Michael, a lifelong resident of the Monterey peninsula, was an active member of organizations including the Moose Lodge and The Knights of Columbus, as well as serving faithfully as a deacon of the Catholic Church for a number of years. He and his late wife, Cheryl, were known for their annual Kentucky Derby parties and enjoyed hosting many other events for their wide network of friends.

Michael is survived by his loving in-laws, Karen, Sheila and Phil, Jay and Connie, and nieces and nephews, as well as, his girlfriend of ten years, Anne. Michael is already missed so much and will always be remembered for his sweet smile, sense of humor, loyalty and commitment to serving others.

Funeral service for Michael, when he and Cheryl will be reunited, will be held on January 19, 2026 at 11:30am at Mission Mortuary and Memorial Park in Seaside. Please join for a gathering at his home to share memories of Michael and Cheryl after the service.

If so inclined, please consider a donation to benefit Hospice of the Central Coast, whose unparalleled caring staff greatly improved the quality of the last two years of his life; the Parkinson Foundation, or the ASPCA.
