College Athlete of the Week
Leah Sarabia, CSUMB women’s basketball: Recorded a double-double with 14 points and 12 boards, along with five steals in a win over Cal State East Bay.
Lily Thrasher, MPC women’s track and field: The sophomore was a triple-event winner for the Lobos at the Diablo Valley Classic, clocking a state-leading 15.36 in the 100-meter hurdles. She also won the high jump (5-5) and long jump (17-4.5).
